Capture (Time) setting inconsistency
« on: April 03, 2020, 03:37:02 PM »
The Capture selector shows values from 8ns to 20ms, while the values shown in the Oscilloscope window are in range between  2 us/div and 20 s/div.
In other words - when I set the Capture setting to 2ns, the Oscilloscope window shows 2us/div and when I set the Capture setting for example to 2ms, the Oscilloscope window shows 2s/div (see attached screenshot).

My understanding is, that those numbers should be the same, or did I miss something?

Thanks

Hi,

The capture that is displayed at the top should be the current grid time based on zoom. You can zoom in and out with mouse scroll-er. If you zoom the signal, then grid time should change accordingly.

In other words, one is the capture time per division, other is the capture time per sample.
