There will be both assembled and bare PCBs available.

Hi every one, as KiCad use (and collaborator on the debug community) and as main contributor of a tool called KiCost.
GitHub: https://github.com/xesscorp/KiCost
Main page: https://xesscorp.github.io/KiCost/
Discussion:https://forum.kicad.info/t/kicost-questions/10775/3

Using this tool and the older design (here available) I came with a cost of USD171.00 in components by board, producing 20 unities.

I hope I can help with some ideas to the project and speedup the the design, by the use of this KiCad python tool.

Hey, I would like to start new type of your oscilloscope, but where I can download PCB files for example in KiCad as before ? Im still waiting many many months , and I need to buy/build oscilloscope just now. I thought that I will start older type, but I think that it will be better to start new type. Thanks for response

The new design is not yet released to the public. We will release it after crowd funding campaign (by the end of this year the latest). The new type will be more difficult to hand solder as there are many small pitch and BGA components, but it can be done if you are more experienced. The old type is more easy to solder, however you still need some experience.

Okay, just now I'm decided to make old version. Do you have still PCBs for buy now? :-)

We don't have. Maybe someone else will have an extra board. Where are you from?

I think that lot of people here, will know it  ;D On this page is upload for gerber files. I found in HW folder generated Gerber files, can I use it for their upload and making PCB ? Are gerber files allright?  ;)

We were very busy during the last few months, getting ready for the crowd funding campaing. It is not easy to do it, as there are many reqirements with launching a new product... from starting a company, to meeting all producer obligations. We can't provide an exact date, but we are doing our best and we plan to have everything ready soon, probably in January 2019.

Since this intend to be a open development, should be nice include it (for visibility) at http://kicad-pcb.org/made-with-kicad/ by propose a website inclusion at https://github.com/KiCad/kicad-website .
This will expand the visibility for the KiCad community.

I am particularly interested in some 4 channel, USB isolation capability. And the project sounds great.

Thanks for suggestion, It's a good idea. We will submit the project to the "Made with KiCad" section once we upload all the sources (which will be soon)...

Regarding the USB isolation capability... The problem with USB isolation is that it reduces USB transfer speed. But, we were thinking about this and we added a reverse current protection for the USB port in the latest HW version. This should work equally well for the purpose of protecting the PC (but without reducing the transfer speed).

Regarding the 4 channels capacity... this would require a bigger FPGA with more I/O lines (Artix-7 with 256 pins is already at full capacity), or remove the AWG outputs and digital channels. Another option would be to sync two boards, but this creates some additional problems. Maybe it could be done via digital channels interface, but we didn't try this (yet).

Have you looked at jlcpcb as opposed to OSH Park?  Their seem to be significantly better than OSH Park.
